  • Yep! We don’t use any ingredients that are tested on animals, come from animals, or are derived from animals.

  • One question we often get is: “Why remove the water from the product just to add it back later?”

    The answer is simple: liquid hand soap typically contains up to 95% water.
    That makes it bulky and heavy – which increases emissions during transport, and means you end up paying for unnecessary shipping and packaging.

    Elico’s lightweight refill tablets reduce both volume and weight by up to 98%, significantly lowering carbon emissions and reducing the need for single-use plastic and excess packaging. On top of that, you can store a whole year’s worth of soap in a single drawer ✨

  • Absolutely! Our soaps work with any dispenser that has a foam pump. Unfortunately, a regular soap dispenser will not work.

  • One tablet lasts on average 4 weeks with frequent use. Each tablet makes 300 ml of foaming hand soap and provides up to 350 pumps per tablet.

  • The water temperature is the most important factor affecting the dissolution time of the hand soap tablet.

    Recommendation: Use lukewarm water (~60°C / 140°F), and the tablet will dissolve in 10–20 minutes.

    Cold water (~20°C / 68°F): Can take up to 40 minutes.

    To speed up the dissolution, stir with a spoon.

    Note: Do not use boiling water or shake the dispenser bottle while the tablet is dissolving. This can cause pressure buildup in the bottle, leading to spills.

  • For a rich and silky smooth foaming soap, fill the dispenser up to the top of the "ELICO" logo.

  • We recommend using Elico products within 24 months.
    Once a tablet has been dissolved in water, the soap should ideally be used within 3 months for the best experience.

  • 98% of the ingredients in Elico refills are naturally sourced.

Shipping and Delivery

  • We ship all orders from our warehouse in Stockholm, Sweden, and usually pack them within 1 business day of your purchase.
    From there, delivery takes between 1–5 business days, no matter where in the world you are 🌍

  • Orders within Sweden and the rest of the EU are shipped from our warehouse in Stockholm, Sweden. Orders to Norway are shipped from our warehouse in Rjukan, Norway. That way, your order arrives quickly – without unnecessary long-distance shipping.

Help with Your Product

  • It might be that some soap has dried inside the pump.

    Unscrew the pump from the bottle and hold it under warm running water while pumping 4–5 times. This fills the pump chamber with water. Then remove it from the water and pump the water back out. Repeat this 2–3 times – that usually does the trick!

    PS: The soap may feel a bit watery for the first 4–5 pumps afterwards, since some water might still be in the mechanism.

  • If the dispenser is leaking, it's usually because the pump was put on a little too early. After adding water and dropping in the refill tablet, you should wait until the tablet has fully dissolved before attaching the pump. This helps avoid pressure buildup inside the bottle that can cause leaks.

    So: fill with water, drop in the tablet, wait until it’s fully dissolved – then screw on the pump.

  • Go to "My Account" and log in using the same email you used when placing your order. Then click on "Manage Subscription" – from there, you can change delivery frequency, skip a shipment, add products, and pause or cancel your subscription.

  • The subscription is completely optional.

    You choose how often you want refills – every month or every 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th month. No need to remember to reorder, and you can change, pause, or cancel your subscription anytime.

    📦 Free shipping is automatically applied to any subscription order over EUR 17. It doesn’t get much easier (or more affordable) than that!
